This stainless steel grist hydrator slide valve  comes with 4” hygeinic Tri-Clover ferrules welded to both sides. The  stainless steel  slide allows you to control the flow of crushed grain to get the best results while hydrating your grist.
The extra benefit is the slide valve closes off the ductwork above the grist Hydrator. When grain is not required to flow. So it stops steam etc from entering the grist ductwork. Helping to protect from  mold & fungal growth.
