The Big S Caskforce Replacement Pneumatic Piston is designed as an upgrade replacement pneumatic piston for Hugh Crane Caskforce cask washers.
 
The Problem
The original Hugh Crane Caskforce cask washer cylinders seize at the trunnion, which stops the cask washer bed's pivoting action. The original units aren't ISO complient. This means that you can't purchase an off the shelf ISO replacement unit to just bolt on to your machine. The height and fittings don’t match. The OEM parts quickly wear out.
The problem is a steel-on-aluminium hinge that oxidsies and locks up with time. When that happens, the tilting bed can not move freely and your cask washer stops working properly. You end up with inconsistent operation and potential spoilage issues in your casks. You don't want to be that business.
 
The Solution
Big-S created this replacement cylinder solution as an improvement on the Hugh Crane cylinder and trunions units.  The Big-S cylinders and trunions are created with more corrosion resistant stainless steel bracket that sets the piston at the perfect height. The unit lines up with the Hugh Crane Caskforce factory mounting holes and the eye on the tilting bed. The trunnion uses an upgraded PTFE bushing for smooth, lasting movement. We've also include an oilite bush at the bed end for extra durability.
 
The Result
The upgraded Big-S version of the Hugh Crane Caskforce cask washer cylinder unit results in an extended operational lifetime. The Big-S units remain operational longer and maintain free movement, so your cask washer runs consistently for longer.
